Guys currently i use a amd ryzen 3600 and vega 56 gpu, i want to upgrade but only my cpu and gpu and i want to stay in am4 only, so i have 2 options in cpu amd 5800x3d or amd 5600x, and gpu im thinking of buying is radeon 7600 can someone suggest me what would be best i dont want to spend more than 40-45k for both of them.

Stating your budget may help. Also, list all your specs.

Thats now how paring cpu with mobo works, You motherboard shoud have decent vrms with heatsink to handle 5800x3d need to know you mobo make and model to confirm if it can handle 5800x3d, i would say it will be able to handle 5600.

my usage would be mostly gaming some random 1-2 video editing rarely thats it

Upgrade CPU to 5700X3D (nothing else, 5800X3D is out of stock) & buy a used 3060Ti or 6700XT for 16k. For new GPU, maybe consider 7700XT at 38k, will increase your budget a bit. RX 7600 is slightly inferior to GPU of PS5, so not an ideal choice as games might start targeting 30fps in PS5 soon (like GTA VI). 3060Ti outperforms PS5 GPU.

That would be a good upgrade however, the cpu is overkill for the gpu, instead go for a cheaper cpu (like 5600) and get a better gpu if possible

get a 5700x3d and pair it with either a used 3080 or if you want to go for something new I would recommend the 4060 over the rx 7600, even though the 7600 has more raw performance, upscaling is something which according to me is crucial at a lower price point and DLSS is better than the version FSR, available with the 7600.

True, except if the OP uses 1080p. In that scenario, the 7600 would be wiser. Upscaling from 1080p, even DLSS, is generally garbage.

None of those GPUs are 1440p worthy really, even with upscaling. A used 3080 would be ideal. Even a 6800XT. However, that would depend on his power supply, as well.

it is but at least not as bad as FSR also DLSS 4 is much better in terms of preventing ghosting even when upscaling at 1080p as compared to DLSS 3 and for most people good enough is good enough.

yeah both of those would require a 750w psu.

also the Arc B580 is coming here soon so that could also be an option depending upon the price.
