adder, can you address on this "flexible bellows", in your sud 701. what about its maintenance. is there any inst. in user manual about this.

well what about it,after 9 months of use its looks good as new.btw are u refering to the drain hose pipe, the end of the pipe should be installed either in a sink or as illustrated in attached PDF manual.this manual is the US version with slightly different UI.

adder it is the rubber ring "flexible bellows" which is very next to the door and this prevents water form coming out of the wm to the floor and this also prevents cloths from falling between the rotating drum and the outer body of the washing machine.

my reco would be to go for samsung. quality and service, all good. i am referring to the samsung silver nano model - top loading. it has steel drum, inlet for hot water and the silver nano funda. it costs about 14k for the 6.0 kg model.

I also had similar queries as bikey, eventually decided to go for samsung. Second option would be the whirpool top loading.

front loading wash quality is better than top loading, but they consume more power and less water. Most imp, they need permanet connection to the tap.

I am also planning to buy one but my budget is limited to 12 K max...... But I am confused between semi automatic and fully automatic one :S

well what about it,no issues whats so ever,u just throw the laundry inside the washing machines set the time, and come back when its done, thats what i do.so if it has passed 9 months of use like this, then i think thats good.
no sort of leak or cloths getting into gap.:)
