  1. Are you looking to overclock?
    • Yes
  2. Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
  3. Windows 11 64 bit
The initial dilemma for me was, whether to go with 12th Gen which is a stable generation of chipset r.n. vs going with 14th gen i5 which have had instability issues reported (which might have been solved, provided by a BIOS update). But now, that i am clear on what i want based on following observations: i am going ahead with 14600K as it has IGPU, higher boost clock for performance and Efficiency cores, lower power consumption, intel UHD770(vs UHD 730 on 12400), number cores is higher in 14600k too.
Another confusing point was, whether to go with 14400f or 14600k or 12700kf, here 14600k wins over both at clock speeds.

Any inputs on CPU part? Rest of the config seems good to me.

done, bought locally and assembled and fitted in my CM HAFX, done and dusted, this is the final build:
14600k(22k) + b760m g ax(11.3k) + 16gb gskill ddr5 6000Mhz(approx 3.8k) + WD Black SN770 1Tb

Congrats on your nice partial PC upgrade. The only thing that's not possible is CPU overclock with the B series Intel motherboard.
