iPod touch (2010) torn down, found to contain an awful lot of battery -- Engadget
Looks like the new iPod Touch has the A4 with 256Mb RAM combo like in iPad. Essentially this means that iPod Touch may not have the same multi-tasking potential as iPhone 4. Somehow I had already guessed that this would be one of the areas where they would cripple the iPod Touch so as to prevent it from cannibalizing the iPhone 4.

^same. I asked the Pune iStore he said it will come within 2weeks. Long wait, but better than iPhone 4 wait.
