Just bought a game off Origin about an hour ago as they are having a sale.
Saw a message AFTER I bought it that I have never noticed before. It stated -
"If your order contains downloadable software, you have 30 days to download your purchase. After you download we suggest you save a copy of the downloaded file to an external drive, CD, DVD, or some other storage medium in the event you have computer problems or the downloaded file becomes damaged or corrupted."
Was surprised to see this so I contact Chat support. Got into chat with a support rep named "Avneesh". Posted my question. Waited 20 minutes. No response. Nothing. He didn't reply. Chat was active and working fine. Pathetic support from EA. I'm really shocked.
I googled and found a couple of links about the issue but nothing official.
This new change seems contradictory to their older rules where games could be downloaded as many times and whenever a user wanted. Anyone else know anything about this?
