0-20k New psu or used?

My system currently is a i5-3570k and a GTX 1650 OC (both of them used), the question is should I go for a used psu to save costs or a new one to make sure nothing goes wrong? Currently thinking about pulling the trigger on a Coolermaster MWE 450 for around 3k on amazon

Depends on the seller, you can get by old psu if its in good condition. But buy a good one from good brand. You can buy jp capacitor psu second hand and not worry, those lasts really long...

Most of the cases buying a new one is better. Make sure to test the psu if you are gonna buy a used one tho. Seen a lot of mates getting a faulty one, initially it ran good but would soon stop working.

Just bought a brand new one anyways, guess it wasn't worth the headache for me
Great decision, if you don't have the tools to test it properly, it's not worth it. My friend bought a used Gigabyte P-450 b after a week or so he had coil whine and 2 random shutdowns. His GPU and motherboard were fried because I think the 12v rail spiked. It was a old motherboard so don't think it had surge protection

I have a new problem now though. I've been using this HDMI to VGA adapter for this old monitor of mine and it seemed to mostly work. I used it off the motherboard of the old system, off my laptop's hdmi port, it's worked for everything I've plugged it into so far but when for my gpu, it doesn't. A direct hdmi to hdmi cable works but not when the vga adapter is on there. It's a GTX 1650 if that's important

i have one on sale if you are interested- sorry my reply was to the op i now read he has already bought a new psu
