Great decision, if you don't have the tools to test it properly, it's not worth it. My friend bought a used Gigabyte P-450 b after a week or so he had coil whine and 2 random shutdowns. His GPU and motherboard were fried because I think the 12v rail spiked. It was a old motherboard so don't think it had surge protectionJust bought a brand new one anyways, guess it wasn't worth the headache for me
I have a new problem now though. I've been using this HDMI to VGA adapter for this old monitor of mine and it seemed to mostly work. I used it off the motherboard of the old system, off my laptop's hdmi port, it's worked for everything I've plugged it into so far but when for my gpu, it doesn't. A direct hdmi to hdmi cable works but not when the vga adapter is on there. It's a GTX 1650 if that's importantGreat decision, if you don't have the tools to test it properly, it's not worth it.
