NEw Sony w700 showing troubles

Hi Tc enclavers.
Ibought a new sony ericsson w700i phone.I added a sony 512 Mb memory stick duo pro & transferred mp3 to the memorystick using disk2phone.Now problem es that whenever i try to play music ,the phone restarts.I tried replacing the memory stick with another of same capacity but there is no change?what could be the problem??
Please guys help me out!!!!!!!!!!
Except for this small problem the phone is rocking with good pic quality & sound clarity
 
I guess by default you get a 512Mb stick by default with this phone ..so does even that gives this problems ? If yes , try formatting the stick (in the phone itslef) and try tranferring some data again and if same problem persists take it to dealer.. its just a 2 day old pone
 
hey buddy i sugest u better not use sony's disc2phone cause it creats prob it phone

i tried to save songs using dat soft but da phone started skiping da songs
i think there is some soft prob
 
take it to the dealer and show the problem. you would better get a replacement. before that, if you have access to a mem card with a different capacity try it out and see what happens.
 
Last week i encountered similar problem, whenever i try to play a song it restarts, even scrolling through the playlist, it restarted. i have w800i. I figured out that the problem is not with the phone, the problem is with the mp3 files. I had few mp3 installed on the phone, which were giving problems. i deleted those songs now it works fine. try deleting your current songs and install new one. I think this is SE software bug, they must resolve in the next firmware, btw i have the latest firmware installed on my phone.
