Edit: I have the WIMAX connection, am not sure if its applicable.

No FUP here, and connection is extremely stable, under 2 hours downtime in the last 2 years!!

Expensive? people airtel is now offering 512kbps UL for just rs.1100. so this just not worth it.

Airtel availability here in Mumbai is an issue, whereas Wi-max is practically availability everywhere etc...

i am on MTNL and wanted to switch cause its looting me with the extra HIGH day usage bills as mine is a night unlimited only plan

both AIRTEL and RELIANCE dont give me connection @ Mumbai,Dadar .... aka centre part of Mumbai !! and say we will inform you !!

is MTNL gonna introduce any new plans ? so i wont DC it ....

Perhaps you need to take a long hard look at other plans.
I don't think it is fair to say MTNL is "looting" you if they are charging you for your day usage as contracted. If you are being billed wrongly then you have a grouse.
