Guys my HTC One V gave up last week and I am going without a smartphone since a week so need a phone urgently. Tried for Xiaomi Mi3 but couldnt grab one so final call is between HTC Desire 816 and Nexus 5. Please suggest which one should I go for. I am in double mind - case of mind versus heart.

I have noticed following pros and cons in both

Nexus 5
pros

-has a class of its own
-guaranteed android update
-blazing fast hardware

cons
-battery life as reported
-nearing its end of life cycle
-camera not great as per owners & no sd card which may cause one to loose data if eventually the phone suddenly gives up.

HTC Desire 816
pros
13MP + 5MP BSI camera combo
dual speakers
looks + htc sense 6.0

cons
same processor now in 6000 rupees Redmi 1S.
hardware config not so great
priced at 23k

Please help asap. I need to make an urgent purchase. And is it ok to buy Nexus 5 from local mobile stores?

please suggest one. max budget 30k

Ok, when I tried to call from my one SIM to my other SIM . It did not say anything.
It means it's dual standby right.
But, I don't find any limitation in using these Sims.

Sorry, I missed this thread.. actually, I my line of work, I use to do long conference calls (min. half an hour), & CDMA is my primary #. When I make conference calls, both the channels gets busy & if someone calls me, he/she gets busy tone. In dual standby handsets, if talking on CDMA , GSM gets not reachable. But in dual active handsets, at least I can be reachable.. anyways, got the alternative.. getting HTC One Max (CDMA+GSM) dual SIM from China telecom. It's dual active.
