best thing would be to exchange it thru amazon flipkart when buying a new one. they offered 1k for scraps for our 3 year old fridge. got 3k in exchange on amazon

I had word with vijay sales and they quoting only 1k not just for my fridge but for any older fridge no matter any doors or any ltrs or brand or how new or old it is. Thats a bad pricing. I better off selling on olx for at 3k or so.

Btw when did you exchanged it? Was it any kind of sale?

That 1k is for scraps. Even if you go to local kabadiwala, they'll quote the same. Maybe 500rs more. Unless you live in bachelors dominated area, listing on olx is waste of time imo. anyways try if you have the time. I sold it off 2 years back and there was no sale going on. even now amazon is offering exchanges on refridgerators
