CPU/Mobo No Power to MoBo after connecting DvD writer

Hi Guys,

I know this is little off topic but I really need help, my PC was working fine till I have connected my HP DVD writer which was disconnected from when I got new WD 1 TB hard-drive.

After connecting DVD writer, PC booted but when I pressed eject button it switched off with half open tray, I check MoBo light is not on and even the PSU fan is not working.

My Config:

Cooler Master 600V

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO

AMD Phenom II X2 550 BE

Corsair 4 GB 1600

Sapphire HD 4850 512MB

WD 1 TB Green

WD 500 GB

HP Dual Layer DVD writer

Please help, what is the reason!!!

Something went dead but what!!!! (PSU OR MoBo)
 
Finally came to know the problem, its my SMPS due to overload it went down, send for replacement other then that every thing is working fine.
