Finally, Nokia has responded to the release of el-cheapo qwerty phones from companies like Micromax, samsung. C3 is going to be priced around 6k-7k price tag (90 euro expected price tag). C6 on the other hand looks to site between 5800XM and N97 mini and so am expecting a price tag of around 17k. E5 is what I am a bit confused about. It's spec looks better than that of E72. So, will it be a phone priced above 23k, let's wait and see.

Lol Nokia C3 will be arnd 5.5k....so expect at 5k after may be a mnth of launch...even less with ebay coupons  Samsung is so dead now !

now its time for we n97 mini owners to feel the heat.since c6 has all the features of n97 right from the 5 mp cam to wifi and the cost is very less compared to the mini.only thing is the slide is parallel is c and angular in n97 mini

The C3 model will cost EUR90(5.5k INR), while the E5 is priced at EUR180(11k INR) and the C6 at EUR220(14k INR).

All the established mobile companies like Nokia, SE, Samsung et al will have to be more fleet footed- the competition for mobile market from likes of Micromax etc etc is eating into their market share because these oldies have priced their wares too high- now the mobile phone is fairly low tech manufacturing item- and unless Nokia, Samsung, SE, LG etc lower their prices to suit Indian pockets their market share will evaporate- Micromax & friends are already upgrading to Wi-fi, they have advantage of double SIM in their range- they will just have to improve the cam and have a 3 G set for a game on and the market will be owned by them- bye- bye Nokia et al. ( Wake up guys-bring in some real innovation at reasonable prices- Nahin to tumhare market share disappear ho jayega.- micromax is already ahead of SE in Indian Market.) I feel C-3- 4.5k, C6- 10k,E5- 8-9k will be sweet spot.

Don't forget that those prices are before taxes.

Lol have u even checked the prices of sets like Nokia 5230 & 5233 in Euros when they were announced ! Its not our computer hardware where prices are more in India. In India mobile phones are arnd 10-20% cheaper than Euro prices !!

The handset will be available in Q4 this year for a recommended price of 150 euro before taxes or subsides.

So that calculates to arnd 9.1k or so ! When we got it for arnd 8.2k or so in lauch ! And ya most of us got from ebay at arnd 7.3~7.5k  ...so tell me now what about C6. I donno what will N97 mini owners do....they will be like mad cows now

What makes you think that these el cheapo manufacturers will eat into market share fast? Most of those who use these cheapo phones will come right back to the usual brands, thanks to the inferior quality of build and UI.

the E5 is worth looking at, only if the pricing is good when it enters the Indian market.

But looking at these 3 one thing is for sure that Nokia is still disappointing at styling.

Nokia E5 has 256mb ram onboard with around 180mb free after fresh bootup..Also rom is 512 mb with 250 mb free for user .. Much better than E72 .. First nokia S60 3rd edition device with 256 mb ram. Now why the hell C6 has only 128 mb ram ?

Only Nokia can do this :P
