Nothing wrong in expecting vfm, is there?

^ Nothing wrong! But IMHO asking for 3g, qwerty, good screen, GPS , wifi for a ~5k phone is too much and looks nothing more than a rant.

According to the announcement by Nokia India, The power packed new handset Nokia C3 will be available at Rs 5,317 and Nokia C6 the a touch and full keyboard phone at Rs 13,000, while Nokia E5 a business-cum-entertainment device is priced at Rs 10634.

What do you want - a prize? I don't know where you get that attitude from, but please read carefully. It seems that all that the "journalists" have done is calculate the rupee equivalent of the pre-tax euro price. See this article:

Hell, it would be great if you are right, but as of now there is nothing to show that you are.

What attitude ? You must be mad to see that

Anyway when we see the ebay price or the retail prices in say over the next 7-10 days :P....then may be I will pass that attitude wala comment :P

Btw I see if someone  at someone...some members really get angry :haha:

Also Fonearena prices are usually the MRP ones (like for 5230, 5233, 5800)

^^ Why would nokia price a phone at Rs 5317 ? Prices are always rounded off , its obvious he's arrived at that figure by doing 90*59.07

^^ Lol have you ever checked the Nokia MRPs on the box ?? I have never seen a single Nokia phone having rounded off !

The announcement about prices was made by the Vice-president Of Nokia India, Anssi Vanjoki, so i think these prices do pertain to the Indian market rather than the European one.
Even though the Rs. 5317.89 may have been arrived at through 90*59.07, the actual prices will hover very close to these:)

^^ Yes 2nd that.....remember Nokia 5230 launched at 9389 in Bangalore Garuda Mall with a huge bash. That was MRP and the phone was just Rs 8400 in the retail/street shops. The Nokia priorities stood with the Rs 93xx prices for 1 week but they also bundled Senheisser headphones/memory card/data cable for free.

Same way I feel Nokia C3 MRP will be below 6k and street price hovering around 5.1~5.3k. So surely expect 4.5k in ebay after coupons :D by end of May

any idea about the pricing of C6 ?

i mean its a competitor to n97 and only 13k???????

great pricing

and after ebay coupon we can buy it at arnd 12k
