aka911 said:So nokia expect to sell what are essentially same specs from a year old phone like sgs lcd or droid x with a new OS and admittedly a very beautiful design for 30k? Well I don't see it launching in india and I don't see it selling at that price. If nokia wants to make it a successful venture it should be priced at around 20k I think..
You are comparing apples and oranges. SGS-L and Droid run android - which we all know is a comparatively resource hungry OS. And there is more to a phone than just the specs. It about the whole user experience. If it performs all the functions smoothly and has good battery life, then it does not matter if there is 1GHz single core or 4GHz quad core.

SourceThe Nokia N9 has a beautiful one-piece, unibody design where the hardware and software fit together seamlessly. The large, 3.9 inch curved glass AMOLED display lets the applications shine and take full benefit of the user interface. Thanks to the innovative laminated display technology, it looks like applications are literally floating on top of the screen. The body of the Nokia N9 is made from the best in polycarbonate material engineering today, enabling superior antenna performance over most other competitors’ smartphones. This means better reception, better voice quality and fewer dropped calls.
Consider the fact that even the tech blogs that bash Nokia's phones accept that their reception quality is best in the industry at present...and this will take it 1 notch above their own set standard. There are many such good features in this phone. Similarly there are some cons like low quantity of apps (though if it performs most of the tasks which average joe requires OOTB, then this can still be popular)
So lets wait for the reviews and then decide if its worth the price tag
PS - even I would be happy if its priced close to 20k
