HTC started out with WiMo 6.x phones and look where they are now.blkrb0t said:How many companies Microsoft has partnered with have done any better? Can anyone give any examples?
@Vibu: I have used a Windows 6.5 phone and believe me, the interphase was really really bad. Even the simplest of tasks were so complicated to figure out.
Trust me bro WP7 is totally different if possible give it a try, then you will love it manbaccilus said:@Vibu: I have used a Windows 6.5 phone and believe me, the interphase was really really bad. Even the simplest of tasks were so complicated to figure out.

And microsoft needed a big manufacturer like Nokia to hold its own against Google and Apple. It seems that such might actually be possible now. Good for Nokia and Microsoft. And good products and decisions can only mean that it's good for us consumers too
Trust me, I have been a heavy user of WinMo 6.5 inmany forms, the last being the X1 and the HD2 !! they still carry a lot of steam, but people never understood its power and that was its problem.yashvisent said:I see this news as an advantage for microsoft rather then nokia.
now after this announcement nokia may see a further big drop in their phone sales till they release their W7 based phones. which hope fully might come this year.
Also I feel that nokia lacks a good visionary and good programmers to steer their hardware in the right direction.
unless ofcourse they bounce back.
