Not getting international sms on docomo

Hey guys...
I've been noticing that I never receive international messages on my docomo connection. My brother in Canada says he gets all messages I send him. But I never receive any of the messages from him. Neither do I get messages from muscat. Is this a network problem?:huh:
 
Look at the tie-ups they have. I had the same problem with my Reliance CDMA a while back...I couldn't send messages to France. Problem was that Reliance hadn't tied up with any operator for sms's in France.
There'll be a list of operators they collaborate with somewhere on their website...see if your friend is using an operator that isn't listed there.
 
had a similar problem a few years back, Airtel mobile was not receiving messages from idea numbers, but Idea was receiving from Airtel.
Finally solved it by getting the technical support of both on a conference call.(Problem was on Airtel side)
Though the same is not possible here, ask your friend to ckeck with his mobile provider. Maybe they can help
 
the strange thing is when he came to india, he sent a sms from his phone on roaming...suprisingly i got one message out of the 2 he sent me
