Those prices are just random numbers someone spouted on the internet, no one knows what the price of the next gen cards will be.
I saw that the 4070 would be 10% more than the 3070 and vice versa. But that post was not very clear , if they were talking about AIB pricing or RPTECH pricing.
Thats a trend for the past 2 years now and most probably will continue for next 2yrs (I just hope that I am wrong)
I doubt it will be just 10% since they are expecting big gain in performance the price will follow the same trend. If we take 3060 VS 2060 price/Permanence difference then it makes sense. 3060 perform close/better than 2080 so is the price Its not an upgrade for 2060, Its an upgrade for 2070 cards

you are right, I messed up between 3060 vs 3060 Ti that was launched first3060 perform similar to 2070 and is 15-20% slower than 2080, in my opinion its not a worthy upgrade to 2060 let alone 2070.

Lets hope it stays that way, it will be too early to comment on pricing but 10% hike over 3 series cards with gain in performance is not bad at all. Can we get those cards in hand thats a different story all together
I have always suggested people to invest in a used factory fitted cng Maruti Alto or similar hatchback cars where you can ride to places and enjoy actual game naturistic scenes with your family/friends. But people are still ready to put 1.5lacs in a mere gpu
I have no rights, its everyone's money and choice eod but personally I find it Too Much! Cos. will continue to launch gpus or even phones even for 10 lacs and beyond soon then may be banks will start funding loans for IT stuff! Awaiting such days and esp. people availing such loans...
