News NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Is 2x Faster Than 4080 At $999, RTX 5070 Ti 2x Faster Than 4070 Ti At $769, RTX 5070 Faster Than 4090 For $549

Genuine questions deserve genuine guesses

For new/mint condition cards in a stable market (INR estimates):
  • RTX 5080 – Likely around ₹1.4 – 2 lakh
  • RTX 5090 – Probably in the ₹3.6+ lakh range
  • RTX 4090 – will be hard to find, given that everyone is trying to clear their stock
Used 4090s (depending on age, warranty, and condition):
  • 1-year-old – Around ₹1.4L – ₹1.6L (5080 is still no where near 4090)
  • Given the absurd pricing, I will not sell my 4090 and downgrade to a 5080. Because that is what I will get by selling a 4090. Cheapest 5090 is from Zotac at 3.6L.
You're totally on point—if second-hand 4080 Supers or 4090s start hitting OLX or local markets in bulk (especially post 50-series launch), we might see some juicy deals. Could be a great time to wait and grab a high-VRAM beast for cheap
I've got a negative feeling that we won't see 4080s hitting used as there is no incentive for a 4080 4070ti super or 4090 user to upgrade to anything. Sure occasional ones might arrive but no way it would be a healthy number. I'm hopeful tho that we will see more msrp plus minus 10k stuff from official retailers itself.

As long as we are guessing, I don't think 5080 will stay that high. Supers will hopefully bring about a substantial price cut.

iirc 5080 is priced ~30% higher than 5070ti officially (official - yes, lol i know). and 9070xt (which delivers ~5070ti performance) is expected to stabilize at ~65k
the value of 5080 is so damn low with that into the equation, i really dont see how demand can sustain for that price.
