Something is wrong with your optimization. My rig is way less than yours and I get decent frames. Crysis 2 (since Dx9 is common) I get a fixed 60FPS. Metro is around high 40's in Dx10. Both games on full max. settings.

BTW I added crysis 2 for just the sake of it xD..I had already got my gtx580 a month before the preorders started.

As far as Metro 2033 is concerned....Don't you see the difference between 40's and the fixed 60...Though I can max it out on DX11 too and still get decent frame rates (with slight overclocking @800/1700/2100)

Anyways, enough of bragging..lets get back to the discussion...

@OP... YOU SHOULD STICK WITH THE A 6950, AND LATER ADD ANOTHER ONE IF YOU WISH.....BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY GET A NEW FULL HD MONITOR FIRST

as much as people say, i dont think adding white shiny particles in dx11(not there in dx9 mode) make it worth the 70 to 30 frame rate drop.
