NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800 – the industry’s first and only 4GB, ultra high-end solution delivers the highest visualization performance and capabilities, enabling professionals to work with large-scale models and datasets.

:o ZOMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

Well thats one expensive card, its basically a workstation card..... Nvidia still has to come out with something to compete with the HD 4850 X 2 & the HD 4870 X 2..... This card is beyond anything at the moment but its also beyond buying capacity for most...

Way to roll baby! on ur Face ATI !

dude what are you talking about? ati firegl owned the shit out of nvidia quadro's last time i had checked.

not to mention the 4 series cards owning the whole nvidia series in directX performance in 3dmax & the likes.

NVIDIA launched FX5700 last year which also had 4GB of DDR3 memory .

yes i can say NVIDIA BEST GPU's in this class ..............u have to just count 4Lakh Rupees for it .

I just thought of something- take the best consumer desktop processor (i7 965EE) and the best mobo (ASUS X58 Revolution) and couple it with the best RAM (12GB Elpida DDR3-2166) and it's still cheaper than one of these bad boys. That's sick!

they just want the consumer to die buying these products.
In the end you will see ppl clutching latest model graphics cards while in their grave.

Do you guys even realize these cards are not meant for gaming!!

These are actually a good bargain for task which require a lot of number crunching like Financial modeling, or oil and gas discovery etc. As the stream processors harnessed by CUDA programming power is a much cheaper solution then super computers as Nvidia had demonstrated some time back.

because the general public still dont know what "workstation" cards mean.

this topic discussion has become so hopeless.

I'd like to see its performance over FirePro V8700 @ $950.
I think, @ $3499 its too overpriced over V8700 & FX5600.. That 4GB thing surely makes it big and daddy of all ..:P
