@TheCoolerPlayer that laptop comes with 1660Ti "Max-Q" variant. You really think you will like it for 94k?
A laptop isn't all about specs. I'd have probably negotiated to be a bit lower (since I've seen the same model go on sale for 95k or something similar), but it's worth it for the much better battery life, pantone validated screen and portability - fair trade-offs imo.
And there is no such thing as a perfect laptop for a price range - There are Dell XPS, HP Envy and Lenovo Thinkpad machines which sell with inferior specs than my Helios for excess of 150k - sometimes even with just integrated Intel graphics. But I suppose people probably value them for other things. Choosing a laptop is always about selecting something which best meets your needs, rather than always going for the best specs in the price range, and more often than not about the right compromise :)

What payment options are available in this kind of sale if anyone has already been lucky?

Has anyone really got it in previous sales - if yes then how much time before the sale one needs to open the link?
A friend of mine had got a FE 3060Ti in the last sale. He had saved his card info and address, and was able to get it after spending about 2hrs after the sale officially began. But looking at the posts on r/indiangaming about that sale, he seems to have been one of the luckier ones. Your lucky may vary, all hail RP Tech XD
Yes but I was hoping it to have a better graphics card.
A 1660Ti, including the "Max Q" model in the G14 2020, is still a solid GPU imo, and as stated earlier said, that particular laptop is more about being compact and portable than about outright performance. Those looking for best bang for the buck specs should look at Acer Nitro or Helios series, or other similar offerings, if specs are all one wants, without taking into consideration things other than specs such as battery life, weight, compactness, after sales and service etc.
And a 1660Ti, even the Max Q version in the G14 2020, is a very good GPU considering the form factor. I have finished, and very much enjoyed, playing RDR2 on hardware unboxed settings (including ultra textures and water on high, among other things), on a laptop GTX 1650, playing it at a locked 48fps. This was on a 70k laptop, and for about 20k more (in the same GPU generation no less) I could have gotten a laptop which weighs 600grams less, has twice the CPU performance of that, and basically about 1.5x-1.8x the GPU performance, at least twice the battery life and (subjectively) much better looks - that's a pretty good deal for around 85-90k.
As I said before, choosing a laptop is making peace with the right compromises :)
My budget was preferably under 100k, though I was willing to go a bit over if the specs were worth it since I was looking for anything which was better than my current laptop (since i already have a pretty powerful PC for my needs), and since all current G14 2020 (and other portable gaming laptops such as the Zephyrus M15) listings were horribly priced, I chose to go with the best specs instead.

I forgot my rptech account password lol. In order to reset password it says to contact them through mail.... I have made another account, idk if they only accept orders from registered emails, hope it's not the case since it's an open sale!

Probably ya,
I'm not sure if I wanna buy this when 3070ti is coming very soon. I don't think it'll be much of an upgrade other than more vram but if it does come in FE it'll probably be better value than this.

I got a 3060 Ti in the last sale so let me share my experience with folks here. Here it goes...

I logged in at around 9:30AM in at 3 tabs in one system & 1 tab in another system. As usual the site stared showing up different kind of error as the sale time approached. Anyways, these errors kept kept happening & even the product didn't come on sale at least till 11:30AM - 12PM I think. Once the cards were available again we started seeing multiple errors.

The trick was to get the card in the cart & be able to select address. It always used to fail in one of these steps. Once the card was in the cart, I kept refreshing all the tabs & trying to select delivery address. Folks will tell you to wait in case of something is loading but I found that there were no reason to wait if there are error in the browser console, just hit refresh. Try to open the web console(F12) to see if there are multiple errors on the page. Finally the engineering degree was starting to payoff :D .

Mind you this kept happening till about 1PM when some luck folks were finally able to snag 3 of these. I had it in my cart at around 12PM I think, but was only able to move to payment page at around 1:18PM. Did the payment using UPI, it seemed fastest to me. After the payment, I was redirected to an error page that my order could not be completed. WTF!

Meanwhile, all this time I was also following a reddit thread for sale update & folks there were pretty certain that If you have made the payment, you'll get the card even if the order did not complete. Anyways, the stock was 0 at around 1:25PM. I was finally happy that I would be able to get my hands on the card but people started getting refunds at around 3PM, those whose payments had gone through but order did not complete. Dread filled my heart that soon I would also be getting my refund. Fortunately this did not happen. Meanwhile, I also sent a mail to RPtech as soon as my payment was done with screenshot of the payment & all that my order didn't go through despite the payment. I later got a mail that day from RPTech that my payment was done but order was not completed correctly so they asked me for transaction details & address. Finally got the card 3-4 days later. Phew... It turned out folks whose payment had gone through after 1:20PM were not so lucky so timing of the payment & stock availability at that time is what really matters.

Anyways, best of luck to the people trying on the sale!
