OCZ Announces Agility 4 SSD - 128GB at 150$
OCZ has recently announced new addition to its Agility SSD series lineup with the Agility 4 SSD , offering enterprise-grade endurance and reliability all in a value-oriented SSD .
The SATA III 6Gbps Agility 4 drive uses Indilinx Everest 2 controller , the one used in Vertex 4 family . The new SSDs promise speeds of up to 400MB/sec sustained sequential reads and 85,000 random write IOPS .
The Agility 4 uses MLC NAND flash memory and features a dual-core controller, automatic 256-bit AES data encryption, advanced ECC, TRIM support, dynamic wear leveling, and OCZ’s Ndurance 2.0 technology, which is said to extend NAND flash life well beyond manufacturer-rated specifications.
Agility 4 SSDs come with a 3-year warranty and will be available through OCZ's global channel. The drives come in 64GB / 128GB / 256GB and 512GB models . Amazon has already listed the 3 higher capacity drives at $150, $264 and $561 respectively .
