Older Sansa fuze 8 gb worth getting or not? Edit: Finally got it for 800 INR

Hi friends
A person is offering me older Sansa fuze 8gb for 1000 inr. I guess it has card slot too..
I have not checked it in person & before going need your opinions on this.
As per owner he as has got it from abroad some 3-4 yrs back & he never tried any memory card as 8gb was sufficient for him.

If everything is fine should I get it?
What all pointer do I need to check before buying?

Please help guys I am bored & fed up with my nationite n2(sometimes buggy & need to reset)
 
I'm interested to get fiio x1 or ihifi 770c but it will take 1 more year for me to get. New Clip series will cost around 3800-4000 & I do not want to invest that much.
Nationite firmware is buggy & I have to format it along with my 16gb SD card every quarter.
Actually I 'm looking out for used clips in good condition in warranty under 2k but did not find any. :(

Took the risk & got it for Rs.800/- + traveling expenses to owners place ;).
its V2 & has 8GB capacity

Now hunting for silicone case & screen protector in cheap rates which is going to be tough task for me. There is new one on ebay.com @US $6. Screen Protector will be sourced from local stores for cheap i guess
 
No its not rockboxed.
The owner was not that regular user & not that tech savvy.
It was lying idle as his wife got new iPod.

Will use it for 1 week from now on to check if any problem arises. First it needs update to latest firmware version as the earlier owner did not even updated the firmware.
For time being gathering information on Sansa & rockbox.

May try to update tomorrow the Sansa firmware first & on weekend try to rockbox.
