I would highly recommend Mafia 2. It is not an open world game, and you cannot do stuff like GTA. However, if you like story based games, then it is brilliant. The writing is some of the best in games. The characters are very well made. Also, the ending will leave a lump in your throat. The DLCs are crap though.quixand said:Yeah, Splinter Cell Conviction, edited my posts. Thinking of getting Mafia II.
Even Dirt 3 doesnt show up in India.Rickyk said:Noticed this too. Weird thing is the game shows up in the popup via the Steam client but not when one browses the store (all it finds is the F1 2010 "trailer"). Exact same thing happened to Fallout New Vegas as well. Game was on sale but was region locked to exclude India.
F1 2010 was particularly disappointing considering an Indian company ie. - Reliance - has a 50% stake in Codemasters. Even in spite of this, Indians still cant get a good deal?
Sux totally.

Does that work? Or will the gift be valid only for US region?Rickyk said:As I mentioned in another thread, "Fallout New Vegas Franchise sale" seems to be "region locked" for India. We cant buy it here. Apparently the only around this is if someone abroad "gifts" it to us....
I found this while browsing GG but usually i find them at Steam Sales, Specials, and Price Dropsquixand said:@Arjun Where do keep finding these things nice!!
Also, check out Deals4Downloads. Good thing here is that they record the lowest price a game has reached. So, it helps in comparing.Arjun said:I found this while browsing GG but usually i find them at Steam Sales, Specials, and Price Drops
