@jc36lect3r

Well if you think about it, the cheapest RA 3, KR & TT have ever been historically are 4.24, 4.99 & 4.99 which is more than $14, so the "new" complete pack on Amazon for $5 is still an absolute steal...

^ I think so, yes. But IIRC, I don't think you can club them, if that's your intention. They will be applicable only per additional title you buy in Jan...

Edit - Found the official position on the discounts via reddit. Have a look.

Q: Do purchases under $5 receive credit?
A: Yes, any and all purchases in the digital game store before Dec. 31st will receive credit, regardless of price.

Q: How do I know how many credits I have?
A: Before Jan 3rd, keep count of your purchases, or look at purchase emails to find a total to expect. After Jan 3, you'll receive an email with all of your credits at once, it will tell you how many credits you have. You'll still need to keep count as you spend them.

Q: Can I redeem multiple credits on a single game?
A: No you will only be able to use one credit per purchase during the January Sale.

Q: Can I use a credit on a game that costs $5 or less? (Get the game for free?)
A: Yes, the credit will work on items that cost $5 or less, making them free.

If you've been wanting to try out sim racing, now's the time - SimBin titles for cheap on Steam. Race 07 for $1.19, GT Legends for $2.39 etc. (These are old..... but gold. Of course, these titles seem to feature periodically in all Steam sales AFAIK.)
PS: The SimBin Mega Bundle is atm not worth it as it's a lot more than all of the individual games put together IINM.

LOL, I thought you might be but think about it from Amazon's POV considering they are offering the $5 credit regardless of the purchase price of a specific game and some games are less than $1.

You also need to keep in mind that the games against which you can use the credit are a specific, limited set of games that are part of the "Editor's Choice Best Games of 2013". Which games will be included in this list will only be known in Jan 14...

Hey, I am not gonna criticize amazon here. If I wont find any game to buy in that period. I would happily pass those 5$ codes to others if possible.

I already got a brilliant deal for games which I played when I was a kid. Memories mean a lot to me :)

Agree with you completely on the great deal and memories bit. Amazon is really the best.

Plus, you need not worry about not finding a worthwhile title to redeem the credit against as the selection is usually very decent. However, keep in mind that you may end up needing to pay a bit more beyond your $5 credit to get the game you want.

Now only if Amazon.in would offer us the same deals and give us the added advantage of allowing us to pay in Rupees...

Can we redeem Amazon bundles on Steam?

It depends on the game. The game page usually has a DRM mentioned, if it is Steam, then it's a Steam key. If nothing is mentioned then it is a DRM free download from Amazon. Which game do you want to know about?

Note: GG lists support for Win 7 and this package as -
"Windows 7 (Not for all Baldurs Gate games)"
So their might be some compatibility issues with some of the earlier BG games & Win 7. Windows 8.x is not mentioned at all.
XP/Vista would possibly offer the most compatibility to run all the games ...
