Ordered a 5600x from @Prosenjit. the tracking page says 'damaged; please contact customer care'. I've already contacted him via whatsapp, waiting for a resolution.

thats a first, did they mean package is in a damaged state? How did it look on the outside.

After receiving the package it didn't look like there was any damage or tampering aside from the usual dent in the cardboard which is usual (?). Inner AMD box packaging was as expected for an open box product. Physical condition of the cooler and the box are also as promised, no bent pins and all cables intact. Also received the invoice as proof of purchase. I have yet to test its functioning which I will get to in the evening.

didn't see a reason why it should be marked as damaged, everything was in expected condition. Although the package was sent out for delivery after I contacted prosenjit and he passed on the message to the warehouse team, so credit to him for the assistance, I suppose.

Edit: Everything is working at first glance, no problem with getting a POST, only a BIOS reset was needed
