Folks looks like one of the pro models has been announced https://rog.asus.com/networking/rog-rapture-gt-ax11000-pro-model/ not the AX86U though.
was more interested in 6E model :/

Don't know what ASUS stupid A$$ thinks of Indian market that they don't really release good stuff here...

That thing is way too expensive even for US market. Just give it some time, I think they will. I don't really have a use case for 6E right now, will jump straight to WiFI 7 after 3-4 years.

With WiFi-6 you will need a mesh(2 or more), and Asus is best considering you can mix and match routers. AX86U was the best for it's price and so is GT-AX6000, afraid we are left with https://rog.asus.com/in/networking/rog-rapture-gt-ax11000-model/. I would suggest that you buy TUF Gaming AX5400 (https://www.asus.com/in/Networking-...aming-Routers/TUF-Gaming-AX5400/where-to-buy/) now and add another node later when X86U pro is launched.

EDIT: Another thing to look out for is Asus Merlin firmware support for Asus router, this way you would continue to receive updates for a very long time.

can you tell what will be the extra features as a novice user in Asus Merlin firmware?

Merlin(the individual is very active on forums), and Merlin Firmware targets stability/speed/features. A lot of them are under the hood, and some available in the UI. I have been using Merlin since 2016 or so.
Having said that, you can always flash the Asus firmware.
