Great result for Opera.
It has been my favourite browser for a long long time since it consumed the least amount of memory.

The Opera developers have been working very hard on Opera 10.5. Yesterday they released around 5 Release Candidates itself.
With v10.5, Opera has become compatible with lot more sites.

Opera rules for me.

P.S: I am writing this post on Opera Mini browser.

its good i have heard but my love for FF just doesnt seem to end , it may be memory hogging as many wud say but still it has the best interface acc to me , very simple and easy to use

Started using Opera a couple of months back after seeing Raghu blabbering about it all over the forums :P

Started moving back to firefox last week after growing tired of a bazillion sites being broken in Opera :|

Behold, the greatest browser ever :D.
Each new version brings about new features and actually usable innovation instead of just relying on 3rd part hacks to patch you up.

Rest assured that it's always the site which is broken.
Opera does not care to be the least bit forgiving towards sites that don't follow proper W3C standards (they were deemed standards for a reason after all).

though i do a lot of browsing, i am not a great fan of any browsers. As long it serves the purpose i am fine with any browser.

Opera i have not tried it before... This thread has made me think why not give a try.....

just 2 months in 2010. they decided based on 2 months??

am also addicted to FF, jsut cant let go!

According to a recent survey , Opera's market share actually fell . The biggest gainer was Google chrome followed by Firefox . IEs (6,7 and 8 put together) share experienced the steepest decline .

Chrome has come a long way now.
I won't say i completely switched over from FF but recently, I end up using Chrome (dev) most of the time.

There is no competition for opera in mobile platform. I used it and is awesome.
I havent changed frm opera(Desktop)....10chars. though I keep FF for backup as opera has 1 fault-many sites refuse to show up properlu

FF has an edge when there is a congestion like on our college Lan. Since it is not memory hogging it can be easily overriden by other applications. (meaning if in our Colllege Computer lab if two users are using FF and opera the one using FF will open first) whereas when just opera is being used the pages load faster.
Just my observation Guys.:)
