I've recently changed my proc, board & ram to Intel DC E5200 & Gigabyte G31M-ES2L with 2x2GB Corsair XMS2 RAM.. Seeing the good reviews of the combo, i've tried a little bit of OC'ing.. Since i intended to use the proc at stock speeds for most of the time, i've used the stock hsf that came with the proc..
Here's the result i've got after some very slight tweaking:
3.33GHz (266x12.5) with 1.2V (stock voltage was 1.278V)
RAM @ 886MHz with 2.0V
Completly stable with all stability tests passed (i used orthos & OCCT).. I've used realtemp & coretemp to monitor the temps..
Iam a bit confused wether the load temps shown by the monitoring softwares are accurate or not, because the max load temps i've got is just 52 degrees (after 10 hours of orthos & 1 hour of OCCT stablility test).. It seems to be a bit on the lower side i think..
Are these temperatures normal or the monitoring softwares are reporting the temperatures wrongly??
