I don't believe that is true (see below) and her presence with Nawaz doesn't mean much. These politicians don't call the shots in Pakistan. They are just a fake civilian facade to make the country look normal to the donors in the west. So why Indians give a damn about their politics is a mystery but yeah it matters.
Chris Fair in one of her talks narrated her experiences dealing with the Pak government vs the Indian government.
When she started off she was surprised at the access to senior officials she got in Pakistan. The Paks do this with anyone who is interested in a professional capacity about Pakistan and is from a country of interest. They went out of their way to see she met with whomever she wanted to speak with. Within reason of course but it leaves a lasting impression with any foreigner.
Does that make Chris Fair a Pak agent? No. In fact the Paks have since declared her PNG. For speaking the truth.
But one Asst SECSTATE called Robin Rafael did fall under the scanner for just that reason. One of our intel chiefs referred to her as a b**ch in his memoirs because of the American meddling in Kashmir during the 90s.

The Paks are going to get a more favourable reception with western media or even academia than India.
It's a debatable point given the Paks were a front line state for the west since independence and we were not.
But it is something GOI should think about seriously as India becomes harder to ignore in the future. Some say that happens when you are a $5tr GDP others think at $7tr GDP

WhatsApp! What kind of spies are these. ISIS was warning it's operatives back in 2015 to avoid these platforms. Israeli tech makes it transparent to any government and even allows to jam it with false messages. That is why we never heard of a third intifada
It's good they caught her at this nascent stage before she could do any real harm. She is high visibility low impact. We usually have to deal with the opposite kind and its been quite difficult given the people who end up caught. Scary stuff.
You only have to look back to cold war history to see how seriously penetrated both Americans & Soviets were. My theory of why James Bond came to be is info ops because upto that point the Soviets were running circles around the west in the espionage game.
