Buy Palit Radeonâ„¢ HD 4850 512MB

:hap2:

BTW, the core and memory clocks are that of Sonic version but I think some PrimeABGB person has mistakenly put the Sonic's picture and specs in place of vanilla Palit 4850

is it really worth to shift to this card if already using 8800GT 512mb OC'd (KO edition from EVGA)?.. well just seems to be few % difference between 8800GT 512mb and 4850 512mb..

3D Mark 06' results better on 8800gt... but again as i said couple of hundreds of score here and there... Few % difference..

^^synthetic scores the 8800gt will be same or probably better than the 4850, but wrt to games it'll be a complete sweep for the 4850.
@sidhu, this looks like a typo, no way the sonic edition will be so cheap

so you trying to say that the games which are working sexiy on 8800gt 512mb KO will work by 20-25fps more on 4850? when it comes to gaming?

... well 4850 fills up the gap @ higher resolutions.. but isnt it just 10-15% more than 8800gt?

...doest it really make sense to shift to 4850?:P... specs of my card is 8800GT 512mb KO (680/1680/980)

namic bought one , and its been a world of RMA hell. he still doesnt have a working card after several weeks :(

4850 = 9800GTX+

4850 is 40% faster than 8800GT in some cases, even 4830 99$ card is 15% than 8800GT.

If this is the scenario... why its not a good idea to upgrade to 4850 if already on 8800gt??
