Palit Radeonâ„¢ HD 4850 SONIC 512MB @ Rs. 8,900

nope, we've been dealing with tirupati, but the cards we recieve are still not working, need to have to go to ekm to sort it out once and for all, and in the end , its gonna cost more than it would have if we just bought it locally, than online

Yep. I know. have been in touch with Namic. He has received his second card hasnt he? It seems there is a problem with the lot as both the cards seem to be from the same lot. Lemme see if i can arrange a fully tested replacement for him.

ekm = ? ......

If its purchased from India, then probably Tirupati is the distri of it all over india and they're responsible for it.. check out with ur nearest tirupati service centre.. should be sorted out..

if from mumbai then they have service centre @ lamington road... mebbe u already know it :bleh:

delta owner kamal wa telling the truth then when he discouraged me from going for palit sonic 4850.just bought msi 4850 from him stays very cool.

namic bought one , and its been a world of RMA hell. he still doesnt have a working card after several weeks :(

Thats prolly because they have more margins on MSI, all dealers promote MSi for some reason or the other..... and sound they are your childhood buddies give you best info :rofl:

4850 = 9800GTX+

4850 is 40% faster than 8800GT in some cases, even 4830 99$ card is 15% than 8800GT.

:bshit:

BTW, 4850 Sonic @ 8900rs seems real and is 1 awesome deal

4850 competes with a 9800gtx/+, it is not really >=9800gtx+. It is like 10-20% faster than a 8800GT when both are at stock and like 30-50% over a 9600GT most of the times.

It doesn't make any sense to go from a 8800GT to a 4850. Get at least a 4870 or GTX 260 to see some kind of improvement.

it does make sense....at res 1680 or higher 4850 will outperform the 88gt by quite an acceptable margin.
