Passport queries....

Yeah .. BLR RPO is better than Kolkata ( this 2 place I have experience). I had my pp done in less than 30 days (normal procedure) but I applied for my parents in Kolkata .. its 3 months already.

Got my passport yesterday and after going through the whole process, have listed it in detail below.

where in Bombay is the passport office?? I have filled the online form and now where do i go. Actually my assigned date has passed, is that a problem?

i thought it was like that, hence ive made changes in the content of the original post and posted it above.
the police verification happens immediately i.e. within a couple of days after applying for tatkal.
i asked the police chappie abt the verification thing getting cancelled, and all he said was :
'aisa police verification hata diya toh koi bhi chala jayega bahar'

both the passport offices are close to each other.
theyre in worli...some 2-3 stops after Siddhivinayak temple (if ur coming from the sion side)

you need to take a printout of the pdf that u get after fillign in the form and take it to the passport office (old)
missing the date is no issue, didnt see them checking it anywhere.
so just take the form, the documents,photos n submit it.
