This is to make sure that it is not the thermal paste which has hardened and is stuck to the CPU and heatsink surface
junk_qwe said:Ok. I had tried removing the heatsink but was not able to. Tried it for sometime. I was a little afraid that I will do something that might harm the CPU. Will give another try and see. I also think that it is because of the heat sink not making contact with the CPU properly.
