Hey guys,

I had assembled a PC some time back. Now the PC does not boot. When i power it on the fans start spinning and spin for good 10 secs and then system powers off and automatically tries to reboot. This goes on and the PC does not boot.

I tried running the system without any RAM but still the same.

could you please help me with this?

Go barebones and see what happens. fault could be with your PSU or RAM.

Any beeps if heard, please mention the same.

ok will try that and report back.

btw even when i removed the single RAM that it has it did not give a beep

^ your system will not start al all without ram, try inserting the ram in a different slot, also check the other cables especially the 4-pin ATX power plug and the 20/24 pin power cable.

Also post the system config for better analysis

Once when I had tons of dust clogged in the CPU heat sink Vanes this happened.

Clean that up and see. Also check the thermal paste and see whether it need some replacement.

It can be your PSU too.. So do all these steps n see.. If u can try on another PSU.

Fan stopping after 10secs means there might be some overheating issue . Check if cpu and cpu fan is installed properly .

sorry people but i realised that the motherboard had no speaker on it.
So i connected the speaker and i could get the beeps.

tried a different RAM and its working fine now.

Thank you everyone
