Yes, it is different from the usual ruckus which is being churned out by Bollywood these days. Though I found the politics / thug / media nexus quite boring and repetitive. Also I feel the swear words should have been avoided. Our cinema still is not of age to employ such. It kind of gave a jarring affect -- to the whole dialogue absorption sequences. Liked the background score, editing was superb. The BD based character was just as irritating as the original...!
I am waiting for the pDVDs to be out. For some reason, the pirates are taking long on this movie. The other release of the week, Help, is already available.
dude it is the original stuff so you should spent some money on it. its ok that you dont want lose money on a documentry like this but if you watch it on Pdvd then in my view you should atleast purchase its dvd to give tribute to the star cast and the team of this movie.
let me tell you one thing i also dont like to lose money for watching movie on big screen but after watching 3IDIOTS from a pirated downloaded print i decided to purchase its dvd just because i think this is the only thing i can do in the name of contribution.

^ Can't let my hard earned money go waste too dude If I take pity on every film that is churned out every week, I will go bankrupt very soon I would rather wait
Hit movies pirated stuff are not worth watching and also it takes longer....
See once dvd of 3 Idiots out now they releasing on every another channel
Friend told for every screening single time the movie charges approximate 5 crore.Hence once on imagine than it goes to star than sony and so on
And thats not all.Even future screening are paid if u have proper royalty model
Thats the reason on special occasion only channel screen Sholay. The movie has done 1500 crore rupee business in 35 years
Anyways i dont see any big banner nice movie.I dont think dabang or Kjo production can hit peepli.
SO we have to wait longer for dvds
can you tell me one thing, if for every show a channel has to pay the royalty to producer or whatever then channels like [filmy] repeats some of the movie regularly i.e 3-4 times a week, then they have to pay for every show? even some of the movies comes permanently on weekends on saME CHANNEL I.E. chak de INDIA on sony, no entry on [filmy].
