I have to tell you that the same thing had happened with my watch which I was supposed to get from Tata Sky. t finally turned out that they had shipped the product had my neighbor had very conveniently taken it and forgotten to tell me about it over a month. Maybe this is the issue here.

Fortunately (or unfortunately..?) that is not the problem here. They have repeatedly confirmed that the item has not been shipped and will do it soon. And I live in a Staff Quarters where the guard intimates us when a courier or post arrives and then brings the courierwallah personally to our doorsteps. SO that is not a possibility.
BTW, you've got a very nice neighbour..
