I think the Mods have done as much as they can. If anybody is interested in proceeding with a police case against @Rivunited, please write in here. I'm up for it as is @sg3707. It'd be great if we can get people from Mumbai who can lead the complaint at the Cyber Crime Cell there. They are very quick about these things (sometimes unnecessarily as can be seen from the whole Facebook and Bal Thackeray fiasco last week). He has duped me of 5K and am sure that a lot of the other buyers have been duped for the same kind of amounts. This not small change and we should nail @Rivunited for this. Lets not do the easy thing and keep quiet - its time to stop letting cheats take over this country. This might not be India Against Corruption but we can make a difference in this small way so that @Rivunited never shows his face online!

@Rivunited's profile shows that the cheat was online on this forum just yesterday. He knows whats going on here, he is just showing everybody here the finger

He is still not picking up the phone.
Initially, I supported him because he always said that he will refund to all who will ask, but now it is clearly not the case. This is totally unacceptable. I am supposed to get my 4k back.
We all have his address, contact number; lets discuss how and what we can do?

There is no decision to be made - we are doing it. It would be great to get others who are still waiting for their refund on board as well because then the money involved as a whole will become larger and the cops will definitely treat a 50K cheating case differently (assuming 10 buyers waiting for an average refund of 5K) than a 10K cheating case (assuming just sg3707 and I go ahead with this).

While i was finding about this fraud.
I found out some members brought the perfume directly and know rivunited address.

sg3707, You could have just written what I had actually PM'd you about instead of just lying about it. And I have refunded u 2days ago for 2200rs.
I msged him saying that I am out of town thats why the i was not active (even when I was online, I would just sign in to PM people about their refund receipts as the case was with sg3707). But i told him he could have a Sealed Boxed perfume of chanel if he liked or Instead if he wanted the money he would have to wait for some more time.
As the dealer had refused me refunds after he heard what all I had to say. He knows its original. Just because some people here say it is not does not make it so. He even thought after a point that I was trying to screw him out of money by sending him bottles to give refunds for. Had quite a big argument and in the end I was stuck with refunding money to everyone.
I did not cry about it on the thread saying I can't give it back and all. Only thing is that even I am a student so it is a big deal to refund many people. But over this duration, I have refunded a lot of people just 3-4people are remaining (total maybe max 10-12k). so give me some time Im not saying Im not going to give you ur refund back.

Green never sent any bottles nor asked me for a refund and has used them afaik, So the 6.6k is not my debt.
I spoke on the Phone to Gannu i explained him the situation. All the posts with my details will be taken off this page by him when he gets back from work as its a breach of privacy.
And what the **** is with you people and the name calling. How dare you people label me with BS and expect me not to react. I was and still am giving the people who had asked for the refunds their money back so dont ****ing use language like hes a cheat and what not. I wonder how many of u guys would be ok with giving 20k online to people from ur own money to people u dont even know AFTER they say all kinds of bullshit about you ALL BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT MY REP HERE. Im returning the money just so that this shit does not happen. ANd now the craziest part is that even when I return everything people are still gonna give me shit for it. thats just ridiculous. returns will be given but you have to wait for sometime.
And if some of u have a problem with even waiting.. then go make complaints or whatever but dont spam garbage about me.

Sorry, I feel no sympathy for you. Do you think you are the only person with money problems? Do you think 4-5K means nothing to people who trusted you and got on to this groupbuy?
You created this arrangement, you guaranteed the authenticity of the perfumes and you also guaranteed refunds (if the perfumes were not used) to anyone who asked. I asked, within a couple of days of receiving the perfumes, and now its been 1.5 months since you've received the perfumes and confirmed its receipt and I still have not received my refund. You didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my very polite followups and even to my very loud PMs after I waited for a month.
What is it - 3 or 4 or 10 or 12? Either ways, how much time do you need? Thats one thing you never specify? 1 more week? 1 more month? 1 more year? I'm really sorry but if my money is not in by next Friday, I will have to proceed with a case. I don't think its fair to me that I wait for 2 months for a refund for bottles that are definitely fake
I'm sorry but you lost your right to privacy the moment you stopped responding to emails/phone calls/PMs regarding refunds. @Gannu might remove your details from this web page, but trust me, everybody knows who you are Sayan and all your other details already. There is nothing that you can do about that anymore. You should be lucky that this is just TE and not Reddit
A way for you to demonstrate good faith is to make it clear on this forum the following details - the IDs of people who have requested refunds, the amount owed to them and your timeline for refunding each and everyone of them as per the written commitment made by you on this forum and attested to by the Moderators of this forum
Dont feel too aggrieved. When people see that their hard-earned money has vanished into your sister's account and that you do not have the decency to respond in a timely manner to their communication, they will turn to name calling. Its grand that you think you've got some right to name call others when you owe thousands to people on this forum. Clear those debts first and then you will entitled to self-righteous anger.

This peeves me a little. How much time do you think is reasonable to give to Rivunited? I've given him nearly 2 months already? Do you really think I should wait at his convenience anymore? And like I said in my earlier post above yours, 5K is not a small figure for everyone. And for people who want refunds faster and who followed up extensively (like I have), should be able to get them faster
I understand the need for privacy but frankly, it would have been much for reassuring to me and to others who are owed money by @Rivunited if you had done this based on him posting clear timelines and details on refunds rather than assurances (that he has given for months already). Talk is cheap and you lost an opportunity to push him to do the right thing

You are right ,This has been going on for so many days.Mods first asked him to show the courier receipts with his name and he said he will after exams and never did.
People have been quite generous as most do not have the time to follow this up as it is almost certain most of the perfumes in group order are fakes.

I know there is a high influx of irritation and impatience due to people not getting money back, and that to when they have shipped back the merchandize. Also I was not creating a false innuendo that the amounts in concern (I am not even aware how much, nor does it matter to me); are small or trivial for anyone or me. Why you think, I have asked for Rivunited, to mention dates in the manifesto he puts up here for reversals. We (including you), can help him prioritize it...right..? Hope that makes sense. Even you know, money is not going to come in over night. It is substantial (as an entity for Rivunited), but smaller when fabricated into smaller portions. We can see into that.
Well I apologize for jumping in late, what more can I say. Also this does not mean I am taking the onus for this. Gannu, too has called up Rivunited, and that too from work. I do not want to get into slander mode here, but if you think, that talk is cheap, then I am sorry again for posting here and trying to help out. One can beat the donkey, or urge the donkey. That is up to you all (buyers) to decide.
