Err no. There is a PV7H...lesser inputs....only 1HDMI port and ordinary finish....
I know, I surveyed and enquired abt all the Panasonic models available in Hyd :P
 
@ vij - Basically, whether its the top-end panel or not, it'll still own an LCD left, right and centre. So basically you have a 42" LCD beating panel @ 65k, why buy LCD? :O

Very true...3 reasons why Im talking of the other costlier one is
1. I bought the PV70H:ashamed:
2. No front inputs in the 7H and only 1HDMI port compared to 2 in 70H
3. 70H looks much cooler and the finish of the exterior is def better.

But yeah 7H is more value for money as the screen is the same.
 
had seen a Panasonic 102" Plasma in SGS Mall in pune...price qouted was 32L :P...cud buy good projectors instead with that insane amnt...

Thats just there to show they can make huge screens.....They dnt have too much market for that and so its overpriced...
btw it consumes 1kw of power :P

An extra HDMI input and better finish are certainly enough reasons to justify the extra cost, do post some pictures of your plashma btw :D
 
Guys please help me out here. I got a few questions that i want to ask.
1) Is the Pioneer 42" 427XD Full HD similar to the Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD Kuro?
2) Is there a plasma available in India that can match the performance of the Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD Kuro?
I am looking for a Full HD 42"-46". Please suggest me some models that are good for gaming and watching movies in SD and HD quality.
 
1) The Pioneer Elite is in a class of its own. Nothing comes close... absolutely nothing. The prices are astronomical too... 6000$ or more.

2) Other than those 5000-6000$ panels, plasmas with 1920x1080 resolution dont exist.

3) All depends on your budget. State your budget first.

My budget is somewhere around 1.50lkhs max.
My main use will be console gaming and watching movies in SD and HD res Full HD. I want to buy a display with the latest 24fps film technology, 1.3hdmi ports, 100hz technology and a good contrast ratio.

iirc anish has Hitachi 50PD9800TA.

Its not FullHD. Native is 1280x1080. (Very odd resolution to be honest. But it makes picture appear less stretched in 16:9 aspect ratio.
 
after going through complete thread still i am not able to decide what to buy.
i want to buy panel but my budget - 60k maxxxxxx and would be prefer 42" size. LCD or plasma ????
