@avi: buddy at 60k dont even think about getting a 42" lcd.. the only option at this budget would be a plasma, tat too currently only panasonic has a decent plasma @ 65k i think..
iirc anish has Hitachi 50PD9800TA.
Its not FullHD. Native is 1280x1080. (Very odd resolution to be honest. But it makes picture appear less stretched in 16:9 aspect ratio.
You won't be able to notice it because of the hardware scaling thats there in every plasma. I've seen that particular panel. Blows away everything else in that price range.
