Please suggest an entry-level/decent AVR (PCM over HDMI) + 5.1 system under 35k

Seeing all this stuff, I think I'll have to settle with the Onkyo 3100 (Since HDMI Switching is of no use and I need only sound processing, 3100 is as good as 3200).

Damn, this thing, the perfect VFM combo, is so difficult to select.
 
Wats wrong with the JBL + HK setup? The AVR is as good as what you get with the 3100. The speakers are far superior to the el-cheapo plastic stuff onkyo sells.
