btw, JJmehta is very much reputed, but i feel the prices are on a higher side?
 
Hi Guys,

Finally i got a Silver TZ15 from JJ Mehta today.... they shipped in just 2 days from Mumbai to TVM.... thnx for all ur help guys.... :)

Yet to take a pic.... special thnx for Nolasco and foruamit2004 for finding me the camera..... :hap2:
 
I have a problem with my camera... I get a message, 'Turn off and turn on again' when i switch on the flash for taking pictures... when i turn off and on, i get the same message... it is not allowing me to take pictures with the flash on...

it was good for 2 weeks.... i connected my cam to a tv to see the snaps... i felt a light power shock in the cam... i think that mi8 hv caused a short circuit somewhere(not sure though).... 2 shots after this, i got the problem... i don hv a service centre in my hometown...

really disappointed as it is only 3 weeks old... :(
 
ouch ...i googled for that message and the only thing people advice is either to bang the camera or send it back for replacement , i would definitely choose sending it back for replacement ... sorry for your loss

Well, have you tried contacting the nearest service centre?
 
Just get an entry level FUJIFILM 8 or 7.2mp camera yaar. The man behind the camera makes all the difference.
 
i don hv a service centre in my hometown(karur)... i hv to travel 150kms for tat(coimbatore)... i called jjmehta.... they asked to try in coimbatore.... if they don't service in coimbatore, they asked me to send the camera to jjmehta, so that they can replace....

i am struck up wit my work... will go to coimbatore only after 3 weeks... hope they will replace...:huh:

Not to worry.

The camera is still under warranty and I don't see why the 'Panny' service centre guys at Coimbatore shouldn't repair it.

(If they don't, send 'Panny' a mail highlighting the service centre's response)

OR

You can always ship it to Mumbai (jjmehta) and they'll help get it fixed.

A small price to pay, for a fully functional camera.
