Four previous matches between the sides have seen France coming out on top in all of them including the extra time victory at Euro 2000. Portugal will welcome back their mid-fielders Deco and Costinha after both missed Saturdays win over England.

Luiz Felipe Scolari now needs to fill a hole left by Armando Petit who is banned for this match. Ricardo Carvalho, Luis Figo, Maniche, Nuno Valente and Ricardo will all need to tread carefully as they will miss the final if they are booked.

It will be interesting to see if Zidane is able to show his magic yet again and if Henry is able to snatch the golden boot for the top scorer of this competition. France start as marginal favorites. May the best team win. :hap2:
 
I have faith in Figo/Deco/C.Ronaldo

Portugal it is for me... Let the underdogs have the cup :ohyeah:...
 
Very difficult to predict whos gonna win.

But currently France are my favourites but Portugal are also not gonna be easy

to beat with Deco and Costinha back.

Will ZIZOU show his magic again , I hope he does and France wins the worldcup this time.

But it seems he picked up a thigh strain in the previous match(before the England match) and sstill played against England.

The coach has said that chances of Figo being fit is less than that of Ronaldo being fit.

strategy? tactics? its easy to fool the opposition with such announcements :P

i like both france and portugal but i'd like to see portugal win this WC as a new force in world football. in anycase, looking forward to a good match. :)
 
20 on Portugal.... let the warm blooded Portugese rain supreme over the cold blooded French. The let the French be Fried lol....
 
Well... I seriously dont mind Zidane Winning... Not France but Zidane... As he is reallly really good... No questions about that... But Portugal boys are the ones whom i rooting for as of now... Young players... Young team... Future... And this world cup will be good for them... Sole reasone i was supporting Spain...

Not to forget... Zidane vs Ronaldo 1 on 1 will be something to look out for :D... Some skills they both have ;)...
 
Reeeallly disappointed after yesterday.

But still backing Portugal cause of Ronaldo (United :p), and Goans do have a long history with Portuguese ;)
