dude, dont go all out, he just said he didn't expect much of his card...

I know this much...
9800GTX is considered a "decent mid-range card". Maybe this is according to USA/Europe standards, but the 9800GTX is considered a mid-range card today, and this mid range card cost Rs.13,000/-

I was aware about all this before I paid Rs.6400/- for my current card, so I know the 9600GT is not exactly "low end", but I know I paid half the amount what a mid range card would cost.
I was expecting to play 2 year old games at max graphics, but what I find is that I can play some of the very latest games at max graphics as well, so this is very good performance for only Rs.6400/-

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

Haha you always overrate things don't you? Yes, the 9600GT is a very good card but its not gonna please most extreme gamers who have 22" monitors and above, ones who need to play at the highest level with HD resolutions. Try running 9600gt in 1920x1080 and you'll be very disappointed. For once, you made a right choice of getting the right card:D . happy gaming!

p.s: instead of the 9800gtx which is just a rehashed 8800gtx with higher clocks i guess, ATi 4850(9K) is a better choice. you definitely need to research more.... :P

I chose to spend only Rs.6400/- for a card when there were plenty other costlier options available. What makes you think I will ever want to spend 20-30K on a LCD that allows me a resolution of 1920 lol?

I think you've totally misunderstood what I said... I didn't make this card, I just put a check in the post box to get this card, that's all. Com

Anyway, back to screen shots

MEDAL OF HONOR - AIRBORNE - The end

Anyone who wants to improve his shooting/aiming should play this game at high difficulty. Its different but once you get used to the aiming system its very realistic.

Nazi Germany Below...

Destroyed hitler's tower too.

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

^^ ... yep .. i play every game @ max difficulty ... its aiming is gud ... try brothers in arms Hells highway ... thats even more realistic ... the Thompson is most realistic weapon in that game while others are also great ..but its just that i hav tried thompson in so many games ..BiaHH being the most realistic

No offense meant but Hell's Highway is the least realistic when it comes to aiming or shooting in the Brother's in Arms series :| Road To Hill 30 would take the honor of realistic aiming and shooting.

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

brother in arms hell highway offers realistic settings and team control not realistic shooting or aiming :P

+1.:hap2: I am a die hard fan of Road to Hill 30. Was quite disappointed with Hell's Highway though. I expected the combat to explode like it did in RS Vegas
(since they both technically have the same cover and fire system),but it didnt.:(
It's a great game none the less.

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

... well maybe ..and maybe not ... i was just putting my view coz i found the Thompson pretty much awesome in that game ... others might be unrealistic ... but Thompson was great :)

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

STALKER - SHADOW OF ....

Max in game settings, default Nvidia cp settings.

I need some help with the minimap though. Whats those two red and blue arrows and whats the numbers that appear in the lower right corner of the minimap.

This is a bit more complicated than the simple shooter games I play, and I didnt pay attenntion in the tutorial either... so I need little guidance.

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

red blue arrows are for north south nd the number afaik was the radiation levels..

might be wrong though. :ashamed:

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

Another question please...

What do I do with all the peaces of bread and meat and stuff? Can I use them to regain health.

I had heard a lot about this game earlier, but I'm not enjoying it thus far.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R isn't exactly your run of the mill shooter :bleh:

It has a quiet a few RPG elements in it, though its not a full blown RPG either.

All the foodstuff ends up in 1 place, your stomach :P. You regain a lil health nd stuff when you eat it.

Thanks for the help dude, I think I will skip stalker for now and play it at a later date. I will keep your info in mind when I play it later.

I think I'll play some senseless, low-thought-requirement shooter like terrorist takedown next.

Kane and Lynch.

16xQ Nvidia Control panel... notice the characters

Application controlled AA

I had heard about this before. This is the first game that I have played in which 16xAA looks worse than no AA
