I had heard about this before. This is the first game that I have played in which 16xAA looks worse than no AA
I have played this game 2 times already & it doesn't look like the screenshot you have posted. Infact it looks pretty good with 8X AA from within the game. The first screenshot looks very fuzzy for some reason.

Ill try 8xAA.
Does the game save progress after each level, or do I have to do a manual save?

TERRORIST TAKEDOWN 2

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

Well guys I just beat Mirror's Edge.. I've revised my earlier views on the game, as it got really challenging and fun after the first 4 missions :)

The game is too short though, took me about 6 hours to beat..

Here's a few screens:

TERRORIST TAKE DOWN 2

Salim has stabbed my back.

Every time that Salim speaks in the game I can't help imagining the voice actor in some USA/Europe studio trying to talk with an arabic accent.

Also its fun when the terrorist shout INFEDILLLL!! when they see me approaching them and start shooting at me.

Just the kind of senseless stuff I was looking for.

I like the indoor graphics of this game much more than those of some of the new games too. Its got a nice soft lighting effect about it which looks really nice in the indoors levels. Probably all those "soft shadows" settings etc.

Little Big Planet - My Sackboy on the PS3. took when trying to experiment with photo options. :)

Terrorist Takedown 2 - the end.

The graphics of this game really shine through at the highest detail settings, at medium settings it seemed very ordinary.

There is also some nice attention to detail. For example, one time I reloaded my gun while standing next to an empty barrel, and the empty magazine from the gun fell on the barrel and made a very realistic hollow sound.

Was fun blowing up the rickshaws parked in the desert sun too.

At the end I get recommended for the presidential congressional award for bravery, so it was all worth it.

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

the performance is really great .. the game reminds me of the source engine gfx .. anyone who can play the source games smoothly will be able to play this one as well ... even in the deepest and intense fighting scenes the FPS was rock solid never below 38 for me ... .. but it has V-sync enabled by default which can cause some jitters ... but after disabling that its always near that 50-60 mark (if not above!).

Re: The post your in-game screenshot's thread

FEAR 2 looks nice, thanks for the SS.

Kane and Lynch - The End.

I enjoyed the last few outdoor levels much more than the earlier indoor levels.

This wasn't planned.

The game is actually lot of fun, gunplay is very good, and it is tough even at easy settings.
Only problem is that you will have to complete an entire chapter in a single session. If you get killed within a chapter you can restart from the previous scene, but if you exit the game then you will have to replay that entire chapter again.
Besides this one minor problem, the game is lot of fun, you have to find cover and shoot around corners. Cars, walls, fuel tanks.... lot of exploding stuff.
