both cod2 & q4 are great. fear is not needed. i liked the game only after interval 7 which was almost after 70% of the game. & also after like 60 - 70% of the game the graphics are much better than what they are for the beginning 60% of the game.

Well rave its still arcade game. But i love the roadblocks, the radio chatter feels soo real, and i love smashing roadblocks 
The cars are equally easy to handle as well. But ya, it feels a lot different then underground. Handling is much better. Car turns as it should.
Very enjoyable.
Also on 7800GT max details its over 65-70 FPS most of the times. thats amazing to see.

@Rave: I played it on a 6800U not 9800.
@funky: Did you max out everything in the advanced graphics settings? Even if you set the bar under resolution to max, it doesnt max everything! Bump up the resolution as well. I was getting 40'ish fps @1280, 4xAA, 16xAF, everything maxed.

the cars handle well but not as good as i thought they would.
it has more of a nfs 4/6 feel to it and the fast responsiveness seen in nfs ug2 is gone! if your using a keyboard the car wont control that. well.. that depends upon you i guess.
you dont get nitro for burnouts, sprayshows or all those coolass tricks like 360's and j turns. infact.. i havent been able to pull off a 360 because the car stops sideways. (goodbye nfs stunts)
your nitro refills itself slowly as you race. is that good? is that bad? i dunno. you decide.
all the cars handle differently which is a good thing. but now you cant wallride and its kinda hard to recover your car after it stops because it takes alot of time for the car to shift from 1st gear because all the game producers wanted you to do was see how nice the car looks while burning out. all the time.
the next thing is that the cpu racers arent as competitive again! the hard mode isnt super dooper hard, its more like medium. and medium is easy.. and easy is super easy.
this is just my opinion tho. nfs ug2 controlled better. this one has much better features and races. i just hope this is gonna be a professional game rather than a timepass arcade racer. we'll see when the full version comes out.
