I laid hands on my 4850s on the 26th to be precise!!!
Or did u mean 2 4870s on CF???![]()

would be nice if you can post some benchies with a phenom .
BTW nice nice work gannu hoping to see more in game benchies from you:hap2::hap2:.

But even with lower clocks a quad is better than a dual. Unfortunately phenom doesn't overclock much to or above 3ghz. I think in real world gaming especially in crysis there is atleast a 200mhz difference clock to clock in 45nm, for eg 3.2quad = 3.4dualLord Nemesis said:It doesn't matter if it favors the Phenom when its being pitted againist a E8400 that can do 4 GHz on air. Thats the main reason why I didn't bother getting a Phenom 9850 + 790FX Motherboard though the combo will cost only a bit more than a high end X48 based motherboard alone.
gannu said:No Vista unfortunately;
A new HSF is on its way;And either way I dont think 4G might make a huge difference to the scores since its a Dual Core;
Previously using the TRUE I think I did a bench run on 3dm'06 at 4.3G but not really recommended;
