picked up the western digital 500gb yesterday

model - wd5000aaks
price - rs.5550/-

for anyone who wants to check the benches its in the hd tach thread in storage.

its a 3 platter drive. does good compared to seagate 500gb. slightly better performance & around 200- 250rs cheaper.
 
Got the Galaxy 650i Ultra mobo today.. its a nvidia reference board... evga nd xfx go ahead nd stamp their logos on the board bfore selling it.. these fellows dont even bother doing that :p

Bought a 500GB WD drive today for my vantec nexstar 3 enclosure.

Price: Rs. 5450 (inclusive of VAT).
 
Bluegene at what price and which shop did u get it from???

ALso whats the scenario why no 7200.11 series here yet??any idea

You'll get it with Prime ABGB(022 23855500,022 23896600).. It cost 2600 + 4%vat when I had got it last..

picked up the thermalright ultra120 extreme with a scythe 120mm sflex fan for Rs.3600/- inclusive of tax from prime. price 2 days old.
 
Stormy u sure about tht price? I'd gone to prime yesterday and he quoted me 2650 for Ultra 120 A and 800 bucks for the scythe fan... Can u tell me the individual price of the Ultra 120 Extreme and the fan...I'm goin to pick it up tomorrow..:)

And guys, i got a WD 320 gb sata from Plug n play for 3600/- Do u think the price is on the higher side? Also its got 8mb buffer mem...wots the price of the 16mb model? Do let me know, tomorrrow, i'll have something to fight over then....
 
Any idea if Thermalright Ultima 90 (with or without Scythe 120mm fan) is available on Lammy?? If yes, then approx cost?

dude are u sure it is 4400/- ??? cause US rates are still around Rs 4700/-

how cum its cheaper in INDIA ?

and is there any comparison between the XFX one ..

It was 2600 + vat for the TRUE 120 and 800 + vat for the Scythe SFF21F 3 wks back, so anything arnd 3500-3600 for both of them should be alright..
