the distributors - TAG had quoted me 4.5 on the phone.. this was after starting off at 5.2.. nd i sorta acted pissed.. talking abt how it costs 4.5 in pune.. then the guy spoke to sonmeone nd said tht he can do 4.5 nd no better than that.. i walked arnd lammy asking for prices.. @sidewalk, the guy again said 4.5.. nd i was like then wats the point in me buyin from u.. might as well buy from the distry :)

abt the OC'ing.. i havent even turned it on yet :( its waiting for my gfx to get RMA'd by the screwballs at abacus.. prolly end of this week.. nd even then.. dont laugh at me coz am gonna be running a P4 2.8HT on it :eek:hyeah:.. don have any cash left to spend on a proccy right now :p :p

this board is made by nvidia nd put into a box by galaxy.. or so ive been told.. if thats true.. i dont think theres much that can go wrong wid it.. abt the comparison. there aint any.. all 650i's are reference boards... no one has gone to the trouble of redesigning the board.. yet.

so as far as i can see.. the only diff is gonna be the badging :)
 
@stalker Dude i also got this board from Nehru Place for 5200 almost 25 days back. And this is a very good board. Almost like the XFX one.

as i told you my price is confirmed. as i bought the u120e & the fan. both the prices you mentioned are without 4% tax. if you dont want the bill you can get it at that price.

I am not saying that such a shop is not there but I have been up and down all the streets of Lamington Road and I have never come across any shop with a wall to wall cabinet display :). If there is such a shop I feel most likely its going to stock mostly the cheaper cabinets.

I will make a few phone calls tomorrow and post back.

I have seen at least two such shops, but getting to them is another story altogether, 1 st floor of some rickety building, past the stinking bathroom, up the uneven steps, across the dirty water pool, through the 2" ledge (railing is missing) - and then your wall to wall cabinets - :D

I Think u are right ....and if im not mistaken that shop is now modified!...now it sells more than cabbies ... i had been to that shop like 2 years ago !!

Here in Pune, apparently the there has been a hike in rates over the past 2 days.. Quoting me 4000 for the 320 gb and 2950 for the 250 gb. Is this the case in Lammy also?? Otherwise might get it ordered from my friend...
 
Will be buying 2 gb flash drive and 500 giga disc on monday....will update prices of that later....any suggestion most probably will buy cheaper one so may b wd ill go with....
